“I joined Camex in January 2024 as Quality & Sustainability Manager, having spent over 20 years working in the construction industry in similar positions. In my current role, I focus on ensuring quality management and championing our sustainability initiatives.

No two days are ever the same at Camex. Our fast-paced work ranges from bidding on large infrastructure tenders to handling small minor work projects. As Quality & Sustainability Manager, I get to dive deep into carbon emission analytics, develop ISO9001 procedures, deliver training, engage with clients on quality matters, conduct site inspections and perform audits.

Although my role is mostly self-directed, I am fortunate to receive full backing from Senior Leadership and the wider Camex team, who support me every step of the way. We’ve got a crew of civil construction professionals who just as passionate about what they do as they are about their morning coffee! Whether that’s looking out for each other, our clients, or the community, we’re all in. If you want to be part of a team where skill meets heart, Camex is the place to be!

This role has been challenging, rewarding, and surprisingly humbling all at once. On a professional note, it’s given me the freedom to apply everything I’ve learned over the last 20 years into an environment that truly values quality and strives to get things right. It’s incredibly refreshing to be part of a team that doesn’t just tick boxes, but actively embraces change and continuous improvement.
