“I started at Camex in November 2019 as a Land Surveyor. In December of the following year, I transitioned into the role of Survey Manager.

In my current position, I lead a talented team of land surveyors who support our site crews by accurately recording and setting out all civil elements, including mapping earthworks, roads, and drainage. I also review construction designs and provide insights and advice to our project teams.

One of my favourite aspects of the role is the variety of work. My team enjoys a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, and with technology constantly evolving, there's always something new to learn, whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out.

This role has significantly contributed to my professional and personal development. I've enhanced my skills in surveying, both in the field and using CAD software, which presents daily challenges and opportunities for growth. Managing a diverse team has also taught me how to navigate different situations and personality types effectively.

Camex is an incredible place to work, and almost five years on, I still enjoy collaborating with my amazing colleagues on interesting and challenging projects.”
