Meet Christie

“I joined Camex in March 2023 as Stakeholder & Communications Manager. The role was relatively new to the company at the time, and it has continuously evolved over the last 18 months.

My role encompasses a broad spectrum, including project stakeholder communications, marketing and brand management, internal communications, community engagement, and sponsorship & events.

The support I receive from everyone at Camex is truly remarkable. The team culture here is infectious; we all work together to achieve our goals while upholding our core RIPPED values, which are so important to the company and its people. The people here truly care about one another, which stems directly from the top with the Brewer family, who foster an environment of appreciation and respect.

Each team member brings incredible skills to the table, excelling in their respective roles, and on top of that they are all awesome people to work alongside every day. Despite the team nearing 200 people, I’ve never felt like just a number as everyone’s contributions are valued and recognised.

I am grateful for the support from the Senior Leadership Team as my role has evolved. They have empowered me to make this role my own and have been there every step of the way to ensure I can deliver the very best for our company and our clients.

Civil construction was a completely new industry for me, and joining Camex has proven to be a fantastic decision for my career. On a professional note, I’ve been equipped with the tools and confidence to develop my own management style. Personally, I’ve grown significantly more confident in myself, and my skill set.
