“I joined Camex eight months ago as the Group Training and Development Lead. In my role, I have the privilege of facilitating all the in-house training sessions and overseeing the team’s professional development.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job has been delivering training courses to over 100 employees so far, across both our Cambridge and Taupo branches. It’s been an incredible experience connecting with so many staff members in the business in just a few months.

I love reminding people that regardless of their position in the company, they have the power to influence perspectives and make a positive impact on others – whether it’s on their colleagues, friends, family, or the communities they’re part of.

Our training initiatives start at the top with the Senior Leadership Team and flow right through the entire organisation to ensure that every single person in the business is given the opportunity to pursue their own personal and professional development goals.

Personally, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the civil construction industry and developed a newfound appreciation for the immense time, work, and effort that goes into every aspect of the project.
