Project Overview:
Ecogas Reporoa is a pioneering initiative to establish New Zealand's largest commercial-scale food waste processing facility. Camex were brought on to complete the earthworks, ground improvement, and siteworks.
Project Scope:
The comprehensive scope involved significant earthworks including the construction of tank foundation, a building pad, roading accessways and a carpark. Additionally, ground improvements were completed to ready the land for further development.
Community Benefits:
The completion of this project has substantially benefited the community as Ecogas now recovers organic waste from businesses and kerbside food scrap collections throughout the North Island, turning it into sustainable, renewable clean energy.
