Project Overview:
Commencing in October 2023, the Cambridge Shared Pathway project represents a significant expansion of the shared walking and cycling network within the Cambridge township. Safety and accessibility are paramount in this endeavour, aimed at creating a more pedestrian-friendly environment. The project extends from Hamilton Road, continuing down Bryce Street, Duke Street, and Wilson Street, eventually connecting to the Victoria Street high-level bridge.
Project Scope:
The project's scope is comprehensive, encompassing various elements of infrastructure enhancement. In addition to constructing the shared pathway, the project includes the installation of new kerb and channel drainage, catch pits, soak pits, and drainage reticulation. This holistic approach ensures the project addresses both transportation and environmental considerations, supporting the long-term sustainability of the community.
