As pavement contraction is an important part of all municipal roading, all aggregates are placed and compacted with the optimal moisture content to ensure the greatest possible density and strength. We ensure all road surfaces are thoroughly tested to meet the most stringent of specifications which ensures all end users enjoy a comfortable and smooth ride that stands the test of time.
Our specialist road making team have extensive experience in road making from Project Management of NZTA State-Highway Maintenance to CBD Streetscape Upgrades. At the outset of any projects we ensure that the project deliverables are established and a Construction Management Plan (CMP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) incorporating project specific test regimes are put in place within the framework of both Transit New Zealand Quality Standard TQS2 and our quality management system.
We have our in-house Traffic management resource working in accordance with the Transit NZ Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (COPTTM), V4 including three specialised traffic management vehicles, STMS L1-L2 and Traffic Controllers.

The project involved construction of a main link road between two existing roads. We also constructed a 4.5m arched bridge structure and all piling and concrete form work associated with the structure.
